Guiding Principles

Bunbury Community Radio Inc.

Bunbury Community Radio is an incorporated not-for-profit, membership based organisation and all volunteers must be financial members. The station is run by a Board of Management. The Board is elected by members at the AGM each year.

Bunbury Community Radio Inc. serves the Greater Bunbury Region, providing a music mix from the 1960’s to today, along with special programmes that reflect the diverse music and community interest of our audience.

The not-for-profit sector as well as community and sporting groups are offered free promotional opportunities to support their activities. The station broadcasts community announcements in The Grapevine twice every hour.

Sponsorship Announcements (similar to radio commercials) are also available to community groups and the business sector. These spots are very low cost that will extend the ability of groups and organisations to generate affordable publicity. Click here for more information.

The Station has adopted a Mission Statement, Objectives and Guiding Principles. In the pursuit of these objectives, the Board is supported by the Station Manager and several sub-committees.

The Annual General Meeting is held in August or September each year.   The Board presents the Annual Report to the meeting; provides information; and answers questions from members.
